Our Skokie taproom & brewery features over a dozen beers on tap, a spacious taproom, and an expansive dog-friendly patio & beer garden. Skokie Sketchbook also houses the main production brewery. Pull up a seat at the bar, grab a table, play some shuffleboard or foosball, or comfy up in the lounge area furnished by Swantiques.

Our taproom features a variety of beers on tap, so there’s something for everyone: including Pilsners, lagers, IPAs, hazy IPAs, Belgians, stouts, saisons, Berliner-weiss, fruited sours, and barrel-aged varieties. Guests are welcome to enjoy or pint or try a flight, and the staff is always eager to offer suggestions and tasting notes. We also have gluten free (GF) cider and nonalcoholic (NA) kombucha on tap, and cans of soda and lemonade offer some family friendly options. P.S. Groups of 14+ can reserve tables right here.

The Skokie taproom partners with local restaurants for food pop-ups every weekend, and guests are always welcome to bring your own (BYO) food or order in. NOTE: Sketchbook is now composting, so please help the planet by sorting your trash! Chips, pretzels, and pizza from Candelite are available for purchase.

• Expansive beer garden & outdoor patio space enhanced by trees lit with solar lights plus more picnic tables on the lawn. DOGS are welcome outside, just not inside the taproom.

• Up to 20 beers on tap—all brewed on premises—plus Nonalcoholic Kombucha and Gluten free Cider. Tap List.

• Beer To Go —cans and growlers (glass jugs filled with fresh draft beer) and sixtel kegs.

• Reservations: Since we have so much space now—almost doubled capacity inside and outside—we are discontinuing the use of reservations, except for parties of 14+.

• Sketchbook’s brewery in Skokie represents an expansion from our original Evanston brewery. This 20 BBL brewing system is triple the size of our first brewery; customers can view the fermenters through glass windows. 

• Both the brewery and taproom are ideal for hosting private and semi-private events of any size, whether it’s a business lunch for 10 people or a wedding for 300.
